Birthday Party (Adult)Reviewed on January 20, 2014From Fort Worth, TX

Michael is flat out funny. Michael worked within our budget and was very responsive during the planning. Michael was early to the gig, a true professional and had the crowd laughing the whole time. If you are looking for some good comedy for your party be sure to contact Michael and your parties will never be the same.

Retirement PartyReviewed on January 30, 2011From Jamaica, NY

Michael was a pleasure to hav at my event. He arrived early. My event unfortunately started late and cut into his time slot. He was patient. His comedy was very funny. He did his homework by including some personal info about the honoree in his act. It made it seeem as if he knew him personally.I would recommend michael worthington to others as well as book him for my future events.

Club EventReviewed on October 1, 2010From Wilmington, DE

This was the first Comedy Night that we've ever had at our Elks Lodge. Although I was a little nervous, it was a HUGE success. Michael was hysterical and the audience loved him. Everyone's still talking about it, and those that couldn't make are asking when we're going to do it again! I will definatly be asking Michael and the other comedian that I booked through Gigmasters back for an ancore performance!

Michael was the hit of our holiday party! He came prepared and kept everyone laughing throughout his performance. He intervened with the audience and melded his personal life into his act which was very funny. We would definitely recommend Michael for any party and we give him the highest rating!! Corporate FunctionReviewed on July 9, 2009From Hamburg, NJ

I knew from the moment I saw Michaels clip on Gig Masters this was the man to hire and when people are still laughing the next day it only confirmed our choice. Michael received high marks from all who attended the event. He was professional and on time. He arrived early and dined with our guests, and was very comfortable interacting with everyone before the show. During his performance, he was very funny and made all in attendance feel like a part of the show. I would highly recommend Michael to anyone! Again Great Job Michael Debora A.

Michael presented a show at our fire companies annual installation dinner of fire officers. Great person who understood our needs. Tastefully and humorously entertained an audience that ranged in age from 15 years to 81 years. Very professional..... Would highly recommend.

CelebrationReviewed on July 3, 2010From Roselle, NJ

Michael seemed bored at our celebration. He rubbed his face a lot. I think he overcharged us for his performance.

:

I'm not sure what Mrs. Ferguson is referring to regarding my "boredom". I performed for an hour, the majority of the audience seemed to be entertained, and I was enthusiastic throughout. So that is not an accurate read by her at all. As for "over charging" for the event. I asked what she could afford, she told me, and I said that would be fine. So she paid what she said she could afford. Its unfortunate that some people that we as comedians deal with fail to consider that what we do is not easy to do, and our time and talents have value. I guess she thought I should have done a one hour show for $50? On to the next show.

School AssemblyReviewed on April 25, 2010From Philadelphia, PA

He was very professional and accommodating during the show. His jokes were clean; however he got little to personal with some of the audience members which offended some in the crowd. In fairness, I believe if Michael was instructed in advance to leave the audience out of his stand up routine, I believe he would oblige us without hesitation. I believe he would be great for family and corporate events or events that don’t target just one type of crowd which is what we needed. Ultimately I say for his asking price, he’s great.

:

Mr. Adams booked me to host a dance competition, and that's exactly what I did. The show started an hour late, and left very little time for a "stand up comedy" routine. Mr. Adams told me at the beginning, that they were running behind, and that the audience was not happy. I brought the dancers on, and kept the show moving. To insinuate that my stand up comedy was "offensive" to some in the audience is simply a mistatement of the facts. To make things worse, Mr. Adams did not pay me. I'm still waiting to be paid.

Birthday Party (Adult)Reviewed on March 1, 2010From Thiells, NY

Unfortunately, I was not there to personally witness the show as it was a surprise party for my husband and his friends. Everyone shared with me that he was disappointing. They were all displeased. I could have contracted with someone else but I took a chance and booked MW. He also indicated somewhere that he will guaranteed a great show or your money back. I wonder whether this will be honored. Yolanda Dandridge

:

I appeared through a curtain and entered into a room of approximately 12 men. Many of whom, were still standing around talking, and apparently most of whom did not know I was there to perform. There were a number of distractions and people moving in and out of the room during the entire show. As a matter of fact, one of the men put his gun on the table in response to a joke he didn't like. I understand that no one is going to be liked by everybody, but I am well recieved by most (read my reviews). Therefore, I (or any comedian) would never "guarantee" a performance.

Anniversary PartyReviewed on October 18, 2010From Toms River, NJ

:

A week before the event, I received an email advising me about a change in the start time of my performance. Unfortunately I misread the changed start time, and arrived late. I apologized to the host both on the way to the house (when he called me), and after my arrival. I was told "its ok, don't worry about it." So that may explain the "2.5s" for "professionalism" and "accommodating" (even though I was very professional throughout my association with the Williams', and I accommodated them in the "tone" of the material I performed). Nevertheless, most in attendance thanked me for my performance, stated that they enjoyed me, and some asked for my card.
