Description

Will Durst is an award winning political comedian whose unique bipartisan humor has resulted in acclaimed performances before 3 presidents, a Governors' Convention and a Mayors' Conference. This former radio talk host, oyster shucker, and margarine smuggler (3 of his 108 jobs) writes a weekly nationally syndicated humor column and has been called by the New York Times, "quite possibly the best political comic working in America today." He is the author of "The All American Sport of Bipartisan Bashing" from Ulysses Press, taken directly from his heralded Off- Broadway one man show. His newest book, "Where the Rogue Things Go!" is available on Amazon for pre- ordering prior to an October 2011 release. A cross between a living editorial cartoon and a stand up journalist, Durst cut his teeth at National Lampoon Magazine, Air America and HBO and makes semi- regular appearances on MSNBC, CNN and Fox News. He is a 5 time Emmy nominee; has told jokes in 14 countries; racked up 7 consecutive nominations for Stand- Up Comedian of the Year; and his 1000+ television appearances include Letterman, Showtime, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox News, Comedy Central, the BBC and many many more. He is also C-SPAN's favorite comedian with 8 appearances. With an ability to customize his sets, he has become a favorite of corporate event coordinators all over the country, and his understanding that the truth is a slippery thing has made him a favorite of lawyers, but don't hold that against him. His motto is "You Can't Make Stuff Up Like This." Durst's performances are made possible by the 1st Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.
