Joe Zimmerman

After being named Charlotte's Comedian of the Year by Creative Loafing Magazine in 2006, Joe began touring the country doing what he loves most (that is, driving long distances while listening to self-help books on CD).

He also a member of the Beards of Comedy tour, whose second album came out with Comedy Central Records in November of 2012.

Joe specializes in clean, original stand-up comedy with a unique point of view. He has rapidly become known at the National level for his likable stage demeanor and uniquely crafted material. In 2007 he was named "Stand-Out Stand-Up" at the Laugh Your Asheville Off Comedy festival, and in 2009 he was nominated by Rooftop Comedy for the Golden Shingle Award - given to the most outstanding rising star in comedy.

In the same year, Punchline Magazine wrote that he was one of the top comics to emerge from the NC Comedy Arts Festival. In 2010, Joe was been invited to the San Francisco International Comedy Competition, and the Charleston and Laughing Skull Comedy Festivals.
