Jody Fuller

Growing up in Opelika, Alabama, Jody Fuller had to overcome two things: poverty and stuttering. If I had a nickel for every time I was made fun of, I would have retired at 12.

Enlisting in the United States Army helped Jody overcome the poverty, but the stuttering still gets the best of him.

Jody loved everything about the military, with the exception of three things: waking up early, shaving, and running. Unfortunately, those were the first three things he did every single day. So, after 8 years of serving his country on active duty, Jody decided to pursue a career in stand-up comedy.

So far, so good.

Now, after 18 years of poverty, 8 years at a grocery store, 5 years in college, 8 years in the Army, 3 years in Iraq, ongoing service in the Army National Guard, and a lifetime of stuttering, Jody covers a lot of topics during his show.

Be prepared to laugh. Be prepared to be inspired. Be prepared to laugh some more.

He performs frequently for troops in the United States and Iraq and recently returned from a 5 country tour that included Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia. He performed at the 2009 Branson Comedy Festival, the 2007 DC Comedy Festival and the 2005 Comedy Festival in Las Vegas.

Jody lives in Opelika, AL with his 15 year old black lab named Chyna. Opelika is located adjacent to Auburn and Auburn University. War Eagle!
