She made her professional comedy debut in 1996, performing original comedy skits for an audience of 5,000 at a computer support conference in Reno. Here she learned it is the wise performer who turns off her wireless mike before entering the ladies room.
In 2003, she began producing Cafe' Comedy, a popular stand-up and improv comedy show in central Ohio. The Southwest Messenger (Central Ohio) donned her 'a rising star' and the show 'exceptionally funny'.
Her Cafe' Comedy show is an ENTERTAINMENT 'BEST BET!' The Columbus Dispatch. Dawn is 'JOYFULLY FUNNY', says L.A. talk show host Paul Ryan.

Dawn did a great job for us. She kept the audience entertained and laughing throughout the evening.
Her energy and enthusiasm was infectious and she elevated our awards dinner to another level.
Working with Dawn in planning and writing the event was also great. Her involvement helped focus (and relax) the event team to make the script more professional and polished.
My only regret is having to confine Dawn to our structured evening. I think the audience would have had an even better time if we gave her more freedom to be spontaneous.

Dawn was PERFECT for our function! As a mixed group of Public Safety specialists; from frontline 911 operators/dispatchers to management/directors to vendors, everyone found Dawn to be absolutely hilarious. She knows whats funny, and her delivery and facial expressions (not to mention the hair), will have you falling out of your seat. The audience participation was the highlight; who doesn't want to see their peers in being foolish and loving it? I would highly recommend Dawn for any venue or group, large or small - she was fantastic! I'm still hearing about how much everyone enjoyed her performance. Thanks Dawn!
