David DiLorenzo

David DiLorenzo, is a natural stand-up comedian. He has been making people laugh since childhood and professionally for over 25 years. He uses material from his own life experiences and enjoys poking fun at himself. His favorite topics are Marriage and Relationships, Sports, Dieting, Growing up in a "Loud Italian" family and Television Commercials. He loves to include the audience in his act and he never embarrasses them personally. David began his career with many other successful Boston area comedians in the 1980's. During that time he performed with Denis Leary, Anthony Clark, Tony V., Paul D'Angelo, Eddie Regine, Kevin Meaney and Lenny Clarke.

David's comedy act can be R-Rated for adults or PG-13. He never feels the need to use racial remarks, nor does he use any profanity laced material. For each event David is booked on Gigmasters, he includes paying your Gigmaster Booking Fee of 5% and he will supply a sound system, as well.

David has performed arcoss the United States, at comedy clubs, private parties, colleges, fund-raisers and corporate functions. He has also performed for the New England Patriots, The NFL Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio...and at many United States Armed Forces and Veterans events, nationwide. David uses dozens of voice impressions in his act. He can perform over 100 celebrity impressions. His favorite is Rodney Dangerfield. He appeared with Rodney @ The Providence Performing Arts Center, on June 4, 1982. Along with Rodney, David has performed with many of the top comedians of our generation. Including Pat Cooper, Dane Cook, Joe Piscopo, Steven Wright, Joe Rogan and Robert Klein. David has performed at comedy clubs in Las Vegas, New York, Connecticut, Boston, Maine, New Hampshire, Ft. Myers, Orlando, Miami, San Diego, Oklahoma City and Ohio.

He has recently created his own motivational speaking company called "Your Choice, One Voice" ~ Their mission is to speak with high school and college students about the dangers of underaged drinking and driving recklessly, drugs and alcohol and relationship building.

David has also been hired to perform as a singer. Performing the American and Canadian National anthems at various sporting events. He can also sing a variety of Billy Joel and Frank Sinatra classics.

• David arrived early for the event, which is no easy task on a Friday evening in Branford, CT. David worked very well with the other two entertainers we had. He had worked with comedian Linda Belt before and they were very complimentary of eachother. He had a great attitude despite problems with the wireless microphone that was supplied. • Dave was born to host, and we were the beneficiaries! Dave was the emcee and comic for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary party and things could not have gone more smoothly or with a lighter touch. It was a very diverse group, but Dave and the DJ that he recommended were able to keep everyone happy. I'm pretty sure that most of the people that attended the party left thinking that he was a family member who just happened to be a stand-up comic. Very friendly, very accommodating, very good at what he does. And funny as hell on top of all that! • Dave was great. In terms of professionalism couldn't ask for more. Show'd up when he said he would and was more than accommodating in terms of starting a little bit later than scheduled to allow for some other activities to finish up. It was a fun night overall. He did a show for my brother's bachelor party, and on short notice made some custom material just for him. Was great at working the room, I'd recommend him especially if you want him to work the crowd which he did excellently.
