About me: I am a professional DJ and business owner of my DJ business. I graduated from Cal Arts in 2011 with a bachelors in music performance and music composition, and since then have gone on to successfully own and work as a DJ for all types of events - Birthdays, Weddings, Schools, Clubs, you name it! As you can see on my profile I have gotten nothing but five star reviews across the board, and have even won the Best of 2012 award from Gigmasters after being on the site for only a little over one year (official award badge viewable on profile). I have been professionally DJ'ing much longer, but as you can see, I have built my business on Gigmasters and have been very happy to be on this site since joining back in late 2011.
DJ Equipment I use: I mainly use a Pioneer DDJ-SX four channel mixer turntable system on Serato DJ and A Macbook Pro Retina. (INCLUDED IN BASIC SETUP)
Mics: I provide two professional wireless mics which the host and/or guests are welcome to use (INCLUDED IN BASIC SETUP)
Sound: For my basic sound setup I use two Behringer B615D 1500 Watt Class-D Transducer active 15' Powered Full-range PA speakers with a 1.75 titanium compression driver and 15' woofers… in other words, they sound awesome ;-) (INCLUDED IN BASIC SETUP)
Subwoofers: Subwoofers can really add a special bit of power to the dance floor and can really help get guests dancing all night long! I offer a pair of 1400 watt 18' club quality subwoofers. (NOT INCLUDED IN BASIC SETUP)
Lighting: Lighting can add SOOOO much more to an event! I offer a full lighting truss, up to 12 feet high, complete with professional quality intelligent lighting, featuring two high power lasers, two ADJ Scanners, two pinspots, and an 800 watt active strobe light. This lighting package includes a fog machine and/or haze machine (as long as the venue allows for it), and a large venue bubble machine (if specially requested and venue allows for it). (NOT INCLUDED IN BASIC SETUP)

"We hired MPH to DJ a very upscale party on the field of the Rose Bowl. I was a little weary of hiring someone through a random website I had never heard of before, but 2 recs had fallen through and I needed someone! MPH was totally on the ball. He contacted me via phone and email and made sure that he was on top of all of our needs and requests from the get-go. He arrived promptly, was set up with dance floor lighting, an extra sub woofer due to the location and was completely self-sufficient from the start. He took requests but also read our crowd and had a wide range of songs that he played. His rate was very competitive. We will definitely use him again. "

"DJ MPH was super awesome! The party was so fun and the DJ'ing really added to that. His remixes were fun to dance to and the lights really added to the effects of the party. "He made my wife's birthday experience the best. He knew exactly what to play based on the present mood and took our song requests and spread those songs out perfectly. He also had the most amazing lights, smoke effects, and bubble machines (when the smaller kids were dancing). A definite class act and I would recommend for any type of party. I will be using again for future parties. Numerous people at the party also commented on how great the d.j. was that next day as part of our conversation. A d.j. really makes a party have that certain feeling and you don't want to mess that aspect up so I highly recommend him for any future event that you may be having!"

"We had MPH perform at my daughter's 14th Birthday Party and the kids had the best time! MPH is very professional, an reliable in every way, from start to finish. He was easy to get a hold of at any time to discuss the details before the event, and interested in having a song list and itinerary to work from. He was on time, and set up is state of the art sound equipment and lights in a short amount of time. MPH got the party started and kept it going for five hours. The light show and fog are incredible! MPH was great with the kids, took song requests and made the party a lot of fun. We will be using him again, and I would highly recommend him to anyone. DR"

"Without MPH there is no party!! MPH was very professional and easy to work with Sound quality was amazing Lighting was incredible Able to play all kinds of music MPH was very affordable especially for what i got and he had better equipment and skills than the most expensive DJ's i've seen Guests danced all night long He had some really cool light up glasses which added to the whole effect the music He writes is awesome too!
I highly recommend MPH to anyone and i will definitely use him again He was perfect for the age group we had which was 21- 30

"DJ MPH was AMAZING. He communicated with me various times before my cousin's GLOW Club theme party to coordinate the play list which I was VERY particular about. Not only was he VERY professional but his image went PERFECT for the event which was Vegas, EDC inspired! EVERYONE LOVED him and his sound system was top notch. He really set the stage so that everyone felt like dancing throughout the night. The music we requested him to play was more club theme music such as Dada Life, Nervo, Afrojack, Deadmau5 etc which was his style anyway so it made the party all the more AMAZING. I HIGHLY recommend DJ MPH if anyone wants there party taken to another level "

"DJ MPH was better than I expected! He brought an awesome light and fog machine setup so it really made the atmosphere fun. He made sure to get all the songs I liked and even played songs I've never head of that fit well and fit my taste. He was friendly towards me and my guests. None of my guests asked for requests, but I think that's because they were having too much fun dancing. He played some music he made, and I would have never guessed it! He's very talented as both a musician and a DJ. He blended the songs so well. I would definitely recomend him to any friends throwing a party! And if I ever throw a party again I will go straight to him."
