Clowning Around For Over 25 years
Clarity takes a gentle and calm approach -- capitalizing on her role as a mother and teacher. For the past ten years, she has also been employed by Bright Horizons working with infant and toddlers. She has her CDA credential (Child Development Associate) and is Lead Teacher qualified for infant and toddlers. She feels very blessed to have two jobs that she truly loves.
Face Painting:
Clarity has received extensive training at the Face Painting International Convention in Orlando, FL, as well as numerous clown conventions. She has learned from some of the best in the business. She especially loves when a child looks in the mirror with a smile and says, "Wow!"

Best All-Around Clown – 1992 - Circus Magic Convention, VA
1st Place - Face Painting – 2007 - Clownfest Gathering, Northampton, MA
Some neat stuff:
Clarity and 100 other clowns were extras in the 1989 movie Her Alibi, which starred Tom Selleck. She is officially on the "Big Screen" for a few seconds. In early 1990, she also had the opportunity to entertain several times at the White House Easter Egg Roll.

"Clarity, who did not come in costume per my request, was extremely personable, accommodating and friendly with both the adults and children at our party. Her face painting skills were outstanding and she did a great job with the balloon-twisting for the kids. She even made extra "swords" for the little ones in case of breakage. "She was very thorough, contacting me severally in advance before my event to ensure we were both on the same page as far as preparations went. On the day of, she confirmed again in the am which is always a good thing. She was punctual and once set up, which took all of five minutes, she was ready. There was a one year old who it was obvious it was his first time seeing a clown and he kept yelling hi at her, and I envy her patience : )
the show was great, involving the parents and older kids as well as the 3yo birthday girl who was smiling and involved for most of the show, especially at bunny petting time. Face painting was a blast! Everyone loved her. +1. "

"She was great! We had a group of ten kids from 10 months to 9 years. She entertained them all. We absolutely love the live bunny "sassy" she brought into magic tricks. Her dinosaur and sword balloons were awesome for the boys, and the girls played with the poodle and turtle balloons for hours. Honestly, the best face painting my kids have had. Tye diversity of her show has fantastic. Will definitely use her again. "
