I am a classical guitarist who has been performing in the Maryland/DC area now for over 25 years. My specialties are weddings, recitals, art exhibits, and company luncheons. Classical guitar adds the perfect ambiance to any function mainly because it is low volume. It is easy to talk while the music gently plays in the background. One also has the option to listen if they are not involved in conversation. For weddings I can play while guests are assembling before the ceremony, and after, or play the music for the ceremony as well. This works very well for the outdoor wedding. I can prepare special songs that the bride and groom may want arranged for guitar. Whatever the function, classical guitar is a fine choice of music.
