DESCRIPTION:
Melissa has been an active free-lancer in the greater Boston area for several years, specializing in violin, voice, and piano for all occasions. She performs regularly as a soloist, as a studio musician, with her flute trio (flute, violin, cello) and with her string trio (violin, viola, cello). String duos, string/piano combos, string quartets, ensembles with winds, chamber orchestras, and other instrumentations are also available. Melissa and her chamber music ensembles provide an elegant and festive touch to any special occasion. Performance venues have been as diverse as a concert at Carnegie Hall, an outdoor concert in Colombia, South America, and a studio recording pop songs. For any occasion, Melissa can offer you the flexibility and experience you need for the perfect event. High quality music, professional attitudes, and friendly service are guaranteed from each musician. Getting married? Melissa offers specialized, low-stress service to brides and grooms. The musicians were right on cue with all of the music throughout all parts of the ceremony. They did very well in keeping with the overall tone of the wedding while playing prior to the ceremony. All of our guests complimented us on our choice of music which I believe in turn compliments the immeasurable talents of the musicians. I would not hesitate to recommend to a friend or family member.
