Note: Our musicians are fully vaccinated against covid 19! The Atlantic Strings have won many awards on Gigmasters including 'Best of Gigmasters' 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015 and 2014. They were also been awarded the 'Rising Star Prize' on Gigmasters for 'Top Wedding Performer' and 'Top String Quartet' for the entire USA and Canada in 2017! They also won the 'Rising Star award in 2016, 2015 and 2007 in the fields of "Best String Quartet' and 'Best Wedding Performer' for the entire USA and Canada!! The Atlantic Strings have been performing at some exciting venues in 2018 and 19 including the The Montalbán Theater, El Capitan Theater with composer John Debney, the Midsummer Scream Convention at the Long Beach Convention Center, the world's largest Halloween convention, with composer Christopher Young and the Il Frida Theater. The Atlantic String Quartet has also performed for TV on wedding reality show 'Love at First Flight' for Lifetime TV. The Atlantic String Ensembles are operated by husband and wife team, Ellie and Brian Bunker. This excellent ensemble has a 5* rating and many rave reviews! Brian played for the US Army band of Europe in Germany, and Ellie performed for many prestigious orchestras including the Mannheim Philharmonic and the Heidelberg Philharmonic for over 4 years. In LA, Ellie has much experience as a session musician performing on various films, TV, video games, commercial songs and sound libraries at top recording studios in LA including Warner Brothers, Sony, Universal, The Bridge and Fox. Ellie is currently the assistant concertmaster for the Bakersfield Symphony orchestra she also plays regularly in lots of other professional regional orchestras in the area including the San Bernardino Symphony and the Redlands Symphony. Brian has a doctorate degree from Claremont Graduate University in music composition. He has won many awards for composition including by the Reno Pops Orchestra and has also has his works placed on TV shows including 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians'. Brian can offer personalized arrangements of your favorite songs of the absolute highest caliber. We are some of the finest and highly trained classical musicians you will find in this area! All of our musicians have music degrees from such prestigious Universities as the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester, England and University of California.
