CelebrationReviewed on June 11, 2013From Bryn Mawr, PA

Daniel and Rachel played at our house for my mother in law's birthday and they were fantastic! They played throughout breakfast and didn't bat an eye when my mother in law asked to accompany them on the piano. It turned into her own private concert hall and was a birthday wish come true. Daniel and Rachel went above and beyond my expectations. I would hire them again in a second!

Driftwood set the perfect atmosphere at my sister's wedding ceremony last weekend. Daniel was very easy to work with and super nice. Of course the music was beautiful! Thank you so much for giving my sister and her guests such an amazing experience.

Studio SessionReviewed on January 21, 2013From Philadelphia, PA

My wife asked me to line up some live music for her yoga class, and we hired Driftwood's cellist, Daniel. He is prompt, professional, and kind in all communications, making it truly easy to prep the event. He played 45 minutes of non-stop, entirely improvised solo cello music synchronized sensitively and creatively to the movements of the class, all while carefully supporting my wife’s vocal instructions - it all seemed natural and perfectly crafted. There were 46 people in the room (for a class that typically draws 15-20 students), and afterwards a flood of folk came up to say how amazing it was. I can’t recommend Daniel highly enough!

Wedding Cocktail HourReviewed on July 28, 2013From Allentown, NJ

They were great and very accommodating to our special requests. Our only comment is that they were a little too quiet in our large cocktail hour room. I highly recommend them!

Corporate FunctionReviewed on November 21, 2013From Hershey, PA

They had a flat tire on the way to the event and sent a message a head to the venue to tell them to inform me of the possibility of them being a little late.

Cocktail PartyReviewed on March 25, 2013From Philadelphia, PA

Incredibly talented young professionals who will tailor their musical selections to the audience. I have worked with them for 2 corporate cocktail receptions and they were punctual, accomodating, professional and very talented. I would recommend them for any crowd!

Wedding Cocktail HourReviewed on September 11, 2013From Ringoes, NJ

Daniel and Rachel played during my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. They were absolutely wonderful! They were everything I had hoped for, their music fit my ceremony perfectly, and it made it magical. They played a couple of odd requests for me, and did an amazing job. My only complaint is that I was so busy doing group photos during the cocktail hour that I didn't get to hear as much of their music as I wanted to!! I couldn't recommend them more, especially given their incredibly reasonable price!

WeddingReviewed on November 29, 2019From Elmer, NJ

Driftwood strings was very talented and punctual. They performed beautifully for our cocktail hour! My only reason for giving 4 stars was the delay in response when it came to communications. It took between one to two weeks for a response via email consistently. I understand being busy and traveling and this occurrence happening once, not every time. I did love the service provided! The music and talent outweighed the inconvenience ??

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on November 18, 2018From Doylestown, PA

Rachel from Driftwood Strings was super easy to work with, and helped coordinate 2 excellent string musicians to play for our ceremony. They took a special song request for us that they played for our recessional. They played beautifully, and having them there really added a special touch to our day.

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on October 17, 2018From Chesapeake City, MD

Driftwood Strings' quartet played for my wedding ceremony and it was absolutely perfect. Rachel was responsive and incredibly helpful with the planning process. I was thoroughly impressed with Driftwood's well-rounded repertoire (including the classics I expected plus plenty of fun, contemporary pieces). I would not have changed a thing. Highly recommend.

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on October 20, 2014From Wilmington, DE

Rachel and Daniel were the performers for our wedding and I couldn't be happier with their performance. They were in tune and beautiful. They timed the ceremony perfectly and played loud enough for everyone to hear without speakers (indoor ceremony). I spoke with Rachel mostly leading up to the wedding to coordinate timing and set list. She was very accommodating and even honored our request for a song not on their repertoire only days before the wedding. AND they played it clearly and well (The Pixies, "Where is my mind"). I would highly recommend the Driftwood duets to anyone looking for strings for any occasion. For their price, they more than deliver.

WeddingReviewed on October 17, 2014From Howell, NJ

No complaints whatsoever. DD arrived on time (actually a bit early!) for my Central NJ wedding. My guests were impressed by the quality of the performance and the touch of class it added to the ceremony. They followed my Pastor's cues for starting and stopping music play, and just blended nicely with the service. Rachel was very easy to work with in the weeks leading up to the event, and asked for my input in song selections. Would definitely recommend.

Daniel was so easy to work with and super accomodating! He even learned how to play a song for us including a ukelele! Very quick responses and pleasant to talk to. Thank you!

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on June 3, 2014From Broomall, PA

Unfortunately after spending so much time selecting music and going over everything that I wanted, and my special requests, I found out that my church (greek orthodox) would only allow an organist or harpist and I was forced to cancel. I had such a great experience planning everything with Driftwood and I was soooo excited to have them play at the ceremony, especially after hearing their wonderful audio clips. I was heartbroken when my church refused to allow a violin but Driftwood helped me figure things out. They were so kind, helpful and professional during everything. I would absolutely recommend them, and would use them for any other event I may have.

During the planning phase of my wedding, Daniel was extremely helpful and knowledgeable - willing to do what I requested while offering great suggestions when asked. All of my guests were floored by the sheer beauty of the music and phenomenal talent of Daniel and Rachel. They were on time and flawless in their delivery. I would recommend them to anyone looking to add a classy touch to any event. Thank you both, so much. Sarah McGeehan

I could not be happier. This was my daughter's wedding, and having Driftwood Duets play was a gift to her and myself. The music added even more joy to my heart, and they were fun and easy to work with, and of course the music was professional and so very well done!
