An experienced classical, roots, and world music ensemble voted Gigmaster's Best Of 2012, 2013, and 2014, Driftwood has recently expanded into Driftwood Strings!
Founded in 2010 in Boston as a classical violin and cello duet, Driftwood quickly expanded to incorporate some of New England's finest violinists, cellists, and guitarists, as well as a distinctive blend of different musical styles. We've performed at Boston's Jordan Hall, as well as for weddings, receptions, and other special events throughout New England. In 2013, Driftwood relocated to Philadelphia and has joined up with a dynamic team of musicians to offer world-class string music for your event.

Daniel and Rachel played at our house for my mother in law's birthday and they were fantastic! They played throughout breakfast and didn't bat an eye when my mother in law asked to accompany them on the piano. It turned into her own private concert hall and was a birthday wish come true. Daniel and Rachel went above and beyond my expectations. I would hire them again in a second!

Driftwood set the perfect atmosphere at my sister's wedding ceremony last weekend. Daniel was very easy to work with and super nice. Of course the music was beautiful! Thank you so much for giving my sister and her guests such an amazing experience.
