Briar Rose was a perfect group. i would highly recommend them to everyone. I accidently over paid them and the leader of the group refunded me. I would not have caught the mistake and appreciate the honestly. They were very easy to work with, and all 400 attendees loved them. They had a crowd most of the night. They were the best!

Briar Rose played at my daughter's wedding. All of our guests raved about the music, the quality of musicianship; every aspect was perfect. They fulfilled all my expectations and performed beautifully. I cannot say enough of how satisfied I was with them and their performance.
I recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or other special occasion. Thank you, Briar Rose for a wonderful accompaniment to our occasion.

The Briar Rose Quartet played at my wedding during the ceremony and the cocktail hour, and they did a wonderful job. They took the time to discuss with me the types of songs that my wife and I wanted, and they played a nice variety of music. My wife and I received unsolicited feedback from many people commenting on how good they were. I would highly recommend them - whether it's a wedding or another occassion, as they have a broad repertoire.

Our daughter's wedding day was frustrating due to heavy rains the past 24 hours, and predicted to rain all day. Since this was suppose to be a garden wedding and such a dreary forecast, we decided around noon to move the ceremony to the reception site. We tried to notify everyone of the change. About an hour before start time the radar showed a break in the rain, expected to last about 2 hours. So we frantically set up in the garden and sent someone to the recption site to inform the caterers and Briar Rose of the change. The strings were setting up when we asked them to move back to our home -- and they hustled to get here and set up for gathering music while we were still finishing the setup.
Our Daughter and her fiance had requesting rather unusual music for the ceremony. Briar Rose was extremely accommodating in developing/ adapting the sheet music we had provided for their own arrangments. The couple had asked for the score from the movie "Amilee" for the Unity Candle lighting and "Star Wars: The Throne Room" for the recessional. We heard quite a few complements on the music, and many happily surprised guests when they realized they were hearing "Star Wars"!
Briar Rose was also engaged to play for the cocktail hour at the reception. Family photos took longer than expected, so we missed most of their music at the other site. But we heard nothing but good things from the guests. One of our guests is from France who actually makes violins -- he was quite impressed with Briar Rose, especially with all the dampness in the air. Fortunately they were able to pack their instruments and depart before the next deluge began.
Briar Rose certainly helped to make the wedding a really special day. I would readily recommend Briar Rose to anyone planning a special event!

The group coordinator quickly responded and accommodated our last minute request for a string trio that played festive holiday music, although they are a quartet. The group was professional, prompt and well received by participants. We would recommend them for any occasion.
