Steve DeConti music. Great live music with the some of areas finest musicians. We play a variety of music with a jazz approach. Jazz, latin, American songbook, pop, rock, swing, reggae, blues, are all part of the mix. If you are looking for something a little different please give me a call. I will also work with you on special songs that you may want. If you also would like recorded music when the live music ends, plug your mp3 player into the incredible Bose L1 or I'll play my collection of CD's.( favorite dance and disco tunes) in sound that surrounds you. Recorded music can be after the band finishes or on breaks. THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS! We are also available for ceremonies with classical guitar, flute, piano as soloists or in any combination. For the cocktail hour or small gatherings, a duo or trio, with or without vocals, can be just right. The band also knows how to be in the background when you are dining and speaking to your guests. The band can wear formal, semi formal, or casual attire. Since graduating from Boston's Berklee College of Music in 1980, Steve has been in demand as a musician. During his twenty five year tenure as a professional musician, Steve has worked for numerous private clients and agencies in MA, RI, and Southeastern CT. Steve and his bands have played in all the finest venues from hotels and country clubs to the Newport mansions and private homes. Steve has performed hundreds of private parties, weddings and other functions. If your needs are for either background music, dancing, or both, Steve is able to tailor the music to fit the appropriate mood and ambiance. • Steve performed at our wedding New Year's eve this year at Castle Hill. We could not have been happier. He was awesome! My husband and I are still getting positive responses on "our music". Every single one of our guests loved him. He really did sound better than the actual singer who originally sang the song. • The Steve Deconti band played at our wedding ceremony and reception. They are exceptional musicians. We worked together to pick songs that would work the best for the ceremony. In the end we had flute and keyboard. It was incredible. For the reception, the band learned to play the songs to our first and last dances. They sounded better than the original! They always kept the dance floor hopping and knew when to slow things down. They even accomodated us by playing for an extra 1/2 hour since the guests were still dancing.
