The SensationS are San Diego's premier variety dance band and have been entertaining audiences throughout southern California since 1999 while performing extensively including on television, for many weddings, private parties, corporate functions, resorts, concerts, casinos, military bases, galas and special events always to rave reviews. The SensationS Band will keep you and your guests dancing, entertained and having FUN the entire time.

Out of all the bands in the San Diego area, The SensationS were selected by a major entertainment agency to perform 3 big shows for 2,000 guests in the main room, Sails Pavilion, at the San Diego Convention Center for an international corporate gala event which received excellent reviews. The SensationS were also selected by The American Heart Association to perform for 10,000 people for their special event which was covered by NBC news and KOGO radio station selected The SensationS to perform for their events twice at Qualcomm Stadium which is home to the NFL San Diego Chargers footall team.

We play the top dance hits from the 60s to today and our music appeals to all age groups. If you like Pop, Rock, Disco, Rythm & Blues, Latin, Motown, exquisite ballads and GREAT DANCE MUSIC then you will LOVE The SensationS Band of San Diego. We also have a full one hour set of beautiful jazzy music for your dinner hour.

The SensationS Band features the amazing voice of our spectacular female vocalist and all star band which also has 3 outstanding male lead singers. The SensationS are renowned for top caliber professional lead vocals, fantastic professional harmonies, superb musicianship and excellent audience rapport. Our keyboardist provides beautiful symphonic instrumentation of strings and horns as well as piano and organ for a very rich and textured sound to the band. Our incredible sax player has a music degree and adds a very classy sound to the band while dazzling our audiences with his brilliant playing. He and our lead guitarist both use wireless systems which allow them to play out in the audience around the dancers on a few songs which will be very entertaining for your guests. All musicians and singers are first rate artists and all music is performed 100% LIVE.

The SensationS Band provides a colored stage lighting system as well as a cd system which allows you to play your cds through our full PA system during band breaks for continuous music.

Guitarist Robert Latimer is also a professional classical guitarist and romantic guitar artist. He has performed at Rockefellers Concert Hall and Qualcomm Stadium as well as for many weddings and events at San Diego's finest venues. His performance instrument is the world renowned Hernandis Grand Concert classical guitar which may be amplified. Robert's music is ideal for weddings or any event requiring fine guitar music.
