DESCRIPTION:
Robert Dillon is Oregon's premiere fingerstyle guitarist, and known for his command of the acoustic and classical guitars. His music is very diverse, ranging from beautiful classical music to energetic and innovative original acoustic instrumentals. He performs as a duo with a fine percussionist (fingerstyle guitar & percussion duo) and primarily focuses on weddings throughout the Northwest. In the State of Oregon, he has performed for numerous weddings, corporate events, business parties, country clubs, concerts, art galleries, fine dining & banquets, wine tasting events, grand openings, anniversaries, private parties, open houses, and more. Since year 2000, Robert averaged 63 performances per year. He was also featured in a master workshop in the nationally acclaimed Fingerstyle Guitar Magazine. Robert has released four dynamic and beautiful albums: Fingerstyle Guitar & Percussion Duo (2005), Christmas Classics (2004), Renewed Memories (2002), and Images From The Heart (2000). His originals have been played on various TV shows, radio stations in the U.S., and published in national guitar magazines. His refined classical fingerstyle technique applied to his originals allows him to produce very beautiful three-dimensional compositions that have won the hearts of many listeners. CLIENT FEEDBACK:
Robert and Chris Dillon did everything that that was expected of them - they showed up on time, were accomodating to the guests, and played a beautiful set. More than a few of our guests commented that they very much enjoyed the music. It was at a volume that provided background music and entertainment without being overly loud and preventing people from talking. Kudos to them both - I would recommend them both in a heartbeat and woudn't hesitate to hire them again for another event.

Robert's performance was perfect for our company picnic. The ambient entertainment really increased our employees' enjoyment of the event, with everyone being very impressed by the level of skill shown.
Robert arrived early and set his gear up and was ready to start on the time we agreed on. He played non-stop for two hours with his son, as advertised.
Robert also showed a level of professionalism and kindness that one doesn't see very much in the world today.
