DESCRIPTION:

After having studied at length with Pablo Cohen, a protege and close friend of Manuel Barrueco and enjoying a regular stint at Irregardless Cafe in Raleigh the since moving to the Triangle in 2004, I have enjoyed bringing 400 years of guitar music to those who enjoy quality guitar playing. From Dowland and Milan, through Bach and Vivaldi and up to Moreno-Torroba and Lauro, I have an expansive repertoire with which to cover any situation requiring a touch of elegance. Matthew was great! He came before, saw the surroundings and knew where he was setting up. He had a conflicting engagement but we arrived at a lower fee since he had to leave early. He was nice enough to give me two of his CD's to play for the final hour of the party. Very accomodating and professional. I would recommend Matthew.
