DESCRIPTION:
Matt Stedman is a classically trained violinist who performs blues, bluegrass, Celtic, classical, country, funk, fusion, jazz, rock, and zydeco on acoustic and electric violin. Matt is also a harmonica player and vocalist. He has performed with John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers (Eric Clapton's former band) and Bob Margolin (Muddy Water's former guitarist). Matt is also the violinist for the internationally touring zydeco act Mojo & the Bayou Gypsies. In addition, Matt performs as a soloist, and leads his own groups, the Matt Stedman Duo, Trio, Quartet, and the full five piece Matt Stedman Band.

I cannot even seem to find the right words to describe what a beautiful wedding reception The Matt Stedman Band contributed to. They blew our guests away and gave everyone an enjoyable evening.
As a bride, I was able to put 100% trust into Matt Stedman and had no problem allowing him to help organize the music for the ceremony and reception...he was absolutley wonderful!!! I was satisfied with the price, their performance, and most of all their professionalism. We will most definitely recommend The Matt Stedmand Band to our friends here in Northeast Ohio. Thank you guys, we had the time of our lives!!!

They were wonderful! Everyone is still talking about how great and talented the band is. A lot of family members and friends requested cards. The music literally brought tears to my eyes b/c it was so good. I could go on and on, but I'll just end by saying the band made my wedding and reception perfect. Matt was extremely helpful with my situation. My daughter lives in cincinnnati,ohio and i in columbia,tn and she got married in indianapolis and he in chicago. He actually called my daughter and played music for her and helped her pick out her music.
Let me tell you the trio was great!! Their music was beautiful it helped to make our day perfect.
My only regret is i didn't have time to get to talk to him and let him know how much he was appreciated!
If you are looking for someone for you music needs he is the person! very reliable and easy to work with.

Matt Stedman and his band were great to work with and we would book them again if given the opportunity. We booked the band for a corporate training event with people of all diversities.
