DESCRIPTION:
Classically trained, professional guitarist originally from Brazil. Styles includes classical, bossa nova, jazz, samba, MPB and choro music (both covers and originals). Primary instrument is the classical, nylon string guitar, but the electric jazz guitar is also an option. Marco plays solo or with a variety of ensembles which can include, flute, saxophone, clarinet, bass and drums, to name a few. Marco can provide a sound system or plug into a provided system.Marco has extensive performing experience at all major Seattle area venues, including the Benaroya Hall and the Governor's mansion. His sound can be soft (background) or very energetic depending on the customer's need.

Marco was marvelous. His ability to play Brazilian Classical Guitar is stellar. I do not believe we wold have been better served if we had hired Jobim. The audience loved him. We have him permanently inscribed in our hearts and our recommended performers booking book. We meet monthly, and try to vary the performers to reach all of our audience. So we shall definitely have Marco back sometime in the near future.

Marco performed at our wedding, playing a processional, recessional, and then providing music for about one hour and fifteen minutes afterward while guests had champagne, mingled, etc. Marco did a fantastic job and we and our guests were very pleased. I would definitely recommend Marco.
