DESCRIPTION:
Kristen Hays, harpist, has performed nationally and internationally to wide acclaim. In orchestras, Ms. Hays has performed to large audiences at the National Cathedral of Washington, DC; the Kennedy Center of Washington, DC; and various concert halls of Austria. Ms. Hays played at the American Institute of Musical Studies festival in Graz, Austria and the Brevard Music Festival in Brevard, NC in 2002 and 2001, respectively. She has served as principal harpist of 10 orchestras, and has performed with dozens of other ensembles. As a soloist, she has charmed guests as the entertainment at numerous weddings, parties and business functions. Among the venues for her solo appearances are the Corcoran Gallery of Washington, D.C., the Carter Center of Atlanta, the Emory Law School, Goizueta Business School, Emory Medical School, and Emory College. She has played in numerous weddings at various venues, inside and outside, formal and informal. Ms. Hays can help you choose the pieces to use for events and is also willing to learn new repertoire.

Kristen was a wonderful talent and a pleasure to be around. She is a beautiful harpist and a beautiful young woman. She chose music that complemented what we wanted at our ceremony and although I had never met her and we had no rehearsal, she played perfectly and timely throughout the ceremony.
We would recommend her to anyone who would appreciate her talent.
Also, this medium made it easy to find someone for our event when we didn't know any musicians in this area.
