Ken Rothacker

Ken Rothacker plays many familiar classical works; but audiences also love Ken's unique solo guitar arrangements of pop tunes, Beatles songs, bossa nova, jazz standards, movie themes, traditional hymns, and original compositions.

Ken has performed his solo guitar versions of both 'God Bless America', and 'The Star Spangled Banner' for national television audiences when playing for Chicago Cubs games.

Ken has played for hundreds of weddings, concerts, corporate events, special occasions, and church services throughout the Chicago metropolitan area. In addition to performing as a solo artist, Ken frequently performs in a duo with either reeds (flute/clarinet) or violin.

• Ken was great! He met with us before our wedding and we planned the entire ceremony and cocktail hour music out together. • Wow what can we say? We felt a little funny picking someone from the internet with out a recommendation. After we talked to Ken on the phone and then got to meet him in person, we then knew we had the right guy!!!! Ken is a very talented guitarist. He played every song we asked for and others that were requested by our guests. Ken has an extensive song list, which includes everything from Latin, Beatles, 70’s 80’s and 90s so and also all of the church and wedding songs.
