We hired Protea String Quartet for our wedding and were very pleased. We aren’t music people and Ray worked with us personally to make suggestions for music including sending us samples of music layouts other couples used. It was extremely helpful to have someone walk us through each step of choosing music to make sure our day was exactly as we envisioned! Our guests were very excited for live music and it added a touch of elegance to our casual lunchtime wedding! Ray is very easy to communicate with! We highly recommend Protea String Quartet!

I only have very positive comments to make about Ray Kamada and the Protea String Quartet. Working with Ray to book their services was a pleasure. He was very accommodating and open to ideas and special requests. He has a great sense of humor, communicates promptly, is a very talented musician, and is always professional. The wedding ceremony was on the stage of the Taper Auditorium at Benaroya Hall, and the string quartet's sound filled the auditorium. The music was all that I hoped for - truly beautiful. I recommend the Protea String Quartet very highly.

I cannot compliment Proteo Ensemble enough! Ray was extremely helpful, professional, and accommodating. We booked on relatively short notice and he was able to find a few special songs for us extremely quickly. Everyone enjoyed their music during our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour - many guests commented on how great they were! Overall, I am extremely satisfied with our experience with Ray and Proteo Ensemble and wholeheartedly recommend them!

I had Protea Ensemble perform at my wedding, all of my guests were so impressed. when i walked out the door to go down the aisle i could hear Canon in D and i immediately started to cry, it was exactly what i had imagined. i highly recommend these guys for any event!!! It was such a joy to work with Ray Kamada while planning my daughter's wedding. He was very helpful in making recommendations and accommodating about what I knew we wanted. Ray kept in contact and was quick to respond throughout the planning process, which helped to relieve a lot of stress. This was SO appreciated. I didn't have to worry about anything. Our guests enjoyed the music and Protea Ensemble had a big part in making my daughter's wedding truly beautiful.
