The Protea String Quartet (+ String Trio or Piano Trio) performs regularly at private events, as well as in concert.

Various members play or have played with the Emerson and Leontovitch String Quartets, Seattle Symphony, San Francisco Opera Orchestra, and the Whatcom, Pasadena, and Monterey Bay symphonies.

Though based in Bellingham, WA, we also perform in Seattle, as far south as Gig Harbor, as well as north to the Canadian border. Yet, our rates for performing more than 2 hours remain comparable to Seattle-based groups.

So, if you need a special group for your special event, try us. You won't be disappointed!
