The Oquirrh String Quartet is an ensemble comprised of classically trained musicians located in the Salt Lake Valley with a passion for the music we play. We are dedicated to providing a high level of musicianship and artfulness, and we love to provide that distinctive, inviting ambiance that only live string quartet performances can. We have been performing in wedding ceremonies in Utah for many years. We use our experience to help things run smoothly, but we are also flexible and open to whatever you have envisioned for your wedding. While we perform primarily for wedding ceremonies and receptions, our repertoire includes music suitable for corporate functions, formal dinners, holiday parties, or other memorable events. We welcome special musical requests (including modern music!) given enough time to secure sheet music and prepare for the performance. Please contact us if you have any questions. I absolutely loved having the Oquirrh String Quartet play at my wedding. I really wish that I could have heard more, but I was busy getting ready! They are really easy to collaborate with and are very professional.

The Oquirrh String Quartet was marvelous! They were professional in arriving, setting up, and following instructions for our special event to the letter. Their selections were varied and appropriate, and they welcomed input about programming. They were also very friendly and also accommodating about a delay over which we had no control.
