Amanda Day, Soprano

I am a classically trained singer, who holds an MM and BM in vocal performance from the University of Southern Maine. A professional and expressive singer, I have over 10 years of professional singing experience and numerous classical and traditional selections to offer.

An active performer of opera, art song, and oratorio, I have performed as a soloist with Two Sides Sounding, The South Oxford Six, Cantus, Portland Community Chorus, and the Longfellow Chorus. I have beeen a featured soloist in recital with the Portland Conservatory of Music, at the University of Southern Maine, River Tree Center for the Arts, and The Portland Museum of Art.

I have performed and studied opera and art song while at the American Institute for Musical Studies in Graz, Austria and at the Bay Area Summer Opera Theater Institute in San Francisco, California.
