Description

Hello -- I'm a classical pianist originally from Connecticut, and I recently moved to the Denver/Boulder area. I have a Bachelor's degree in piano performance from Boston University (2010) and a Master's degree in piano performance from the University of South Florida (2012). I've been studying classical piano for 20 years, and I've been teaching it for about 10 years. While in Tampa, I taught at the Tampa Piano Academy and at the Patel Conservatory (part of the Straz Center for Performing Arts in downtown Tampa, the 5th largest performing arts center in the country), and as part of my Graduate Teaching Assistantship in Chamber Music, I played in the USF President's Trio, a graduate trio-in-residence, during my two years at USF Tampa. Recent concerts (in the past year) include appearances in Tampa (USF Symphony Orchestra, Clarion Society), Paris, France (Association Philomuses), and the Netherlands (Utrecht Conservatory), as well as countless collaborative recitals, weddings, and various other performances.

I am experienced in all types of events and venues (stages, concert halls, auditoriums, solo recitals, chamber music recitals, private homes, parties, weddings, schools, cocktail hours, etc.) My repertoire ranges from Baroque (Bach, Handel, Scarlatti), to Classical (Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven), to Romantic (Chopin, Schumann, Brahms, Liszt, Rachmaninoff), and modern/contemporary (Prokofiev, Bartok, Griffes, Debussy, Ravel, etc.) I'm a very good sight-reader, and can easily incorporate any sheet music you give me into the event/performance, as well as any special requests. My performance repertoire can definitely be tailored to meet your needs and the needs of the event. I have plenty of references if you would like! Thanks!
