Ceclila Parker Chartoff, Professional Harpist

Cecilia Parker Chartoff performed for weddings, showers, conventions, concerts and other events. She will meet with the clients to develop a program according to their musical taste. She provides examples to choose from ranging from pop to classical. The harp really adds a special touch to weddings and other events.

Cecila started her harp studies in Argentina where she graduated from the the Universidad National Del Litoral with teaching and performing degree in harp.After completing her training, she recieved a scholarship to study harp at the Ecole Normale in Paris with the world renowned harpists Micheline Kahn and Pierre Jamet. Cecilia obtained Le Diplome d"Execution with a focus on French.

After returning to Argentina, she resumed her position as the principal Harpist at the Entre Rios Symphony Orchestra and professor of harp at the Conservatorio Provincial de Musica.

She has played in numerous harp solo reictals, harp and orchestra concertos, chamber music, harp and chorus and radio appearances. Cecilia is an accomplished harp performer and teacher. She plays classical and celtic harp and teaches both in her Sparta, New Jersey studio.
