Along with classical guitar recitals, performed internationally, Alexander Vlassenkov has been playing guitar music for special events, including: Wedding Ceremonies, Cocktail Hours, Receptions, Dinners, Worship Services, Corporate Fuctions, etc. Alex provides a nice blend of Classical Guitar Repertoire, Your Favorite Songs arranged for solo guitar, Latin American and Jazz music which is not intrusive and
allows guests to enjoy the event as well as fine entertainment. Alex believes that Live Classical Guitar music creates a background that enhances guests' experience without competing with guests'
conversation, adds an elegant touch, and makes the event special and memorable. Amplification is available for performing in large rooms.
Alex has earned two Master's Degrees in Music Performance and Classical Guitar Teaching, one from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, UK, and one from the State Academy of Music in Minsk, Belarus. He has performed extensively all over Europe: in the UK, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, and more recently in the US. Currently Alex lives in Branford, CT, teaches at NMS in New Haven, and performs at local restaurants and private events.

Alex played at my event for 3 hours! He did a fantastic job! He is very professional, communication prior and during the event was excellent. Alex has a very extensive repertoire, going from classic to contemporary. All my guest were delighted with his music. I'm really thankful he was part of an special celebration.

Alexander was the perfect performer: he was professional, he played beautifully and was very accommodating to the circumstances of our party. Everyone raved about him, and his music definitely made the party ten times as good as it would have been. Many people e-mailed and called me during this week following the Oct. 5th event to say that Alex "made" the party and what a nice touch that was. I will certainly call him again next time we have any type of gathering. Most highly recommended!
