Description

Steven Seidenman has been a professional classical guitarist for over 15 years. His various concert venues have included the Montgomery County Arts Council, The Martin Luther King Memorial Library, Church of the Epiphany, Strathmore Hall Music Center, Rockville Civic Center, The Jewish Community Center of Greater Washington, and Lisner Auditorium. He was a winner of the Montpelier Recital Competition and has performed for Maryland Cable TV. In 2011 he was invited to perform at the 8th annual Zihuatanejo International Guitar Festival in Southern Mexico. He has released two CD's and has made several guitar transcriptions of Bach, Mendelssohn, Vivaldi and others. Over the years he has performed at several weddings, receptions, restaurants, and corporate events, as well as community centers, libraries, universities, and charitable organizations. His repertoire includes tasteful arrangements of vintage Jazz standards and works from the chamber music repertoire for guitar and flute, violin, and string quartet by composers such as Giuliani, Sor, Paganini, Berlioz, Boccherini, Bach, Mozart, and many others.
