Top Prize winner at the Texas National Music Festival's “Classical Minds” competition, Matt Bacon is an active performer in the San Francisco area. Upcoming engagements include performances of Joaquin Rodrigo's legendary guitar concerto "Fantasia para un Gentilhombre" with the San Francisco Conservatory of Music guitar ensemble and a premiere on the Blueprint concert series. Recently, Matt has performed across the country at venues such as Barshinger Hall at Franklin & Marshall College, the John Marlow Guitar Series in Washington D.C., and a sold-out appearance at the historic Fayetteville Theatre.

A Johns Hopkins graduate, Matt has had the pleasure of performing at the Knoll Showroom, Salle Piano Salon, the Novato Concert Series, as well as several wineries in the Sonoma-Napa area since moving to Northern California.
