Welcome to my gig masters profile. I'm here to answer a couple of questions and to show you why you should book me for your next event.

Who is Dan Kyzer?

I have been playing guitar for over 15 years now, and have studied with some of the greatest players in the classical guitar world, including world renowned guitarist, Eliot Fisk. I studied with Eliot at the New England Conservatory in Boston, MA, where I received a Master of Music degree with Honors. I'm currently based in Denton, TX, where I am a student at the U. of North Texas, pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree. Yes, that's right, you can be a doctor of classical guitar!!

Why should I hire Dan for my next event?

Playing the guitar is not about pressing fingers on frets and plucking strings. In the right hands, the classical guitar is an incredibly beautiful, graceful, passionate instrument capable of expressing a range of sounds and emotions to which many other instruments can't come close. As Eliot always says, it's about "the transformative power of music." That's why you're here; because you want me to "transform" the atmosphere of your next event through my music. Make no mistake, I am a missionary for the classical guitar. I believe that when played properly, it can change hearts, minds, and lives, and that's why you should hire me for your special occasion.
