Julia Barnett

Praised for her rich tone and fluid technique throughout the instrument's range, Flutist Julia Barnett is currently pursuing a Doctorate from the University of California at Los Angeles where she studies with Sheridon Stokes. As a soloist she has performed with the San Diego Symphony, San Diego Chamber Orchestra, and the UCLA Symphony.

A lover of chamber, Ms. Barnett will be able to provide all varieties of chamber groups for your event. From solo to larger ensembles, Julia has contacts with many highly skilled musicians. From cocktail hours, to weddings, or birthday parties, Ms. Barnett would love to help make your event memorable.

Ms. Barnett also finds great joy in teaching and maintains a private studio in LA in addition to working with inner city students in South Central LA. She aims to teach a love of music not only flute, when working with her students of all ages and backgrounds. She spends her summers in New York working for the Perlman Music Program.
