We could not be happier with Yelena and Sergei's work for our wedding. They were professional and accommodating throughout the preparation process, even agreeing to learn a song that is not normally on their play list especially for our event. They were also efficient and responsible about keeping in touch with us before the date.
Most importantly, they played beautifully at our event and did a wonderful job of keeping track of the different processionals, recessionals, and reception music, with almost no guidance from us. We are so grateful to have had such excellent musicians and thrilled with the "service" they provided.

They were a pleasure to work with. They preformed beautifully, and were very accommodating. The unique sound of a classical guitar duo was preferable to an organist, and obviously much better than a CD (for my wedding ceremony. Their prices are extremely reasonable, especially in comparison to a lot of the other musicians caught up in the wedding racket. I would definitely hire them again!!

I communicated with Yelena to get things set for the event. She was very responsive and prompt in responding to my questions.
I needed a change to my program and emailed them 2 days before. The manager called and confirmed everything with me. I felt reassured that everything was going to be fine.
The duo showed up on time, dressed immacculately. The music, I was told, was fabulous. The little bit I was able to hear after I got dressed was beautiful and set the perfect tone for our ceremony.

I had a wonderful experience with Yelena from the very start. From our e mails to phonecalls she was very accomodating. They drove two hours in the rain for what was suppose to be an outdoor party. They had to set up under a small tent and play in the rain while the party was inside. We opened the doors so you could hear the music from inside. It was a shame no one could really see them playing but we could hear the beautiful music. They were very pleasant and very professional and it was a great gift for our Aunt's 80th! I would recommend them to everyone who wants classical guitarists.

My Wife and I had booked them for an hour at our ceremony and an hour during our cocktail hour. We were extremely happy with this duo, very professional, and very talented. They had to change locations from the ceremony to the reception, which they did quickly and seemlessly. All of our guests remarked on the ambiance they provided, even our DJ who is very high profile loved them and asked for their contact info.

The Duo was great. They played beautifully. My only problem was that we were asked to pick the playlist for the songs they would perform, which we did. However, there were 2 songs played that we specifically did not pick nor did we put them on the list. Even though they weren't our preferred songs, they were played expertly.

We hired Inesperado Classical Guitar Duo to perform during our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. We provided specific instructions on what songs we wanted played during the bridal party processional and the bridal entrance. However, the guitarists failed to follow the instructions and ended up playing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING during the bridal entrance and the recessional. Therefore, the bride was forced to walk down the aisle in complete silence for both the processional and recessional. Although the Duo seemed accommodating during the planning process, their utter lack of understanding was demonstrated by their performance (or lack thereof).

We politely disagree with the assessment above. For the processional, we started to play The Wedding March by Mendelhson, as requested and documented through e-mails with the client. We were immediately and explicitly told to stop by client's wedding coordinator, who claimed that, and we quote: The bride says it is a wrong piece. Having no alternative, we stopped and thought that maybe the client would prefer the Sicilienne (another piece requested by the client) but we were stopped by the coordinator again. In addition, the statement about us not playing during the recessional is not true.

Inesperado Classical Guitar Duo made our wedding day extra special. We could not have imagined a better match for the type of musicians we wanted at our wedding. They were punctual, professional, and performed beautifully. The mix of Russian, world, and classic rock music they played was perfect, and our guests really enjoyed it and gave us many compliments on our choice. Yelena and Sergey were great to deal with and exceptional talented. From our first meeting with them we loved their music. They were always prompt in replying to emails. Their price was very affordable and they did not add any extra chargers. They kept the price we contracted for. We asked them to play for one additional hour and they did and charged a very reasonable price. They were beautifully dressed. Our families and friends love their music. They played all the pieces we asked them to play. From all our vendors, Inesperado (Yelena and Sergey) were the easier to deal with. We will recommend them for any event without any hesitation.
