Guitar Guy

Guitar Guy has been rocking the Tampa Bay area as a solo artist for over 10 years. He was among the first musicians to use midi computer technology to program backing tracks to give him the sound of a full band to accompany his live guitar and vocals. He plays a mixture of classic rock, new alternative and original songs . His clear and unique voice makes it easy to understand the lyrics even if you don't know the song. He plays acoustic favorites from artists like Jim Croce, Jimmie Buffett, James Taylor and Bob Seger. His main sound is sizzling electric guitar leads played on an American standard Fender Stratocaster with tunes from artists like the Moody Blues, Beatles, Santana, Doors and Allman Brothers. Also in the mix are newer alternative rock songs from Green Day, 3 doors down , Maroon 5 and his favorite alternative band-------Shinedown.
Guy has played numerous night clubs, restaurants as well as special events like a party in the Grand Ball room of a big hotel to hundreds of people. He also enjoys playing to intimate private partys. He will be enthusiastic about rocking your event !

Guy started playing solo gigs in 1999 after learning about midi computer technology for programing backing tracks to his favorite songs as well as creating the tracks to enhance his original songs.
It tooks about a year in the studio to put this all together.
After playing numerous gigs for several years Guy took a couple years off to pay more attention to his family and booming housing business.

The kids grew up and housing slowed down so Guy hooked up with Rick the Wizard of sound and computers to revamp his entire show. They spend countless hours in Rick's professional studio recording and perfecting the backing tracks with the newest technology while also adding new songs. The sessions have progressed over the last three years as the Rick has become a music coach as well as recording technitian. The sound of each instrument in each song is recorded, mixed and re-mixed to get the right sound. They have added backing vocals to go along with Guy's live lead vocals , added Guy playing backing parts to accompany his live singing and playing . This is a labor of love for the music . This makes a huge difference in his live perfomances and is far superior to just strumming the acoustic guitar and singing.
Guy has a relatively rare combination of talents for a one man band.
He plays hot lead guitar parts , as well as rythm and also has a unique, pleasant and powerful voice. In addition to the his favorite cover songs he also writes interesting originals like " Time Bomb" or "Loving and Losin".
Having a good music show takes lots of work over a long period of time to go along with natural talent and the most fun is performing live for your event.
