Based in Northern NJ and playing throughout the tri-state area, The James Alfred Band is a hard rocking classic rock and blues band consisting of seasoned musicians playing gritty, hard-edged, blues and classic rock filled with cutting, in-your-face emotion. JAB, with years of combined musical experience, churns out classic tunes from the 50's to current pop tunes, for your rocking pleasure! We are available for private parties, corporate functions, concerts, clubs, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and other function wanting a high powered cover band. Playing the traditional music of artists like Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon, T-Bone Walker to more contemporary artists like Freddie King, Albert King, Otis Rush, Albert Collins to blues kings from Hendrix, Clapton, SRV and Beck, to Foreigner, Journey, Bon Jovi and Guns and Roses, to Bruno Mars, Elle King, Pink and DNCE!
