Anna J and Half a Quorum Classic Rock Band from Kelowna, BC

Anna J and Half A Quorum is a collaboration of 4 seasoned professional-musicians, based in the Okanagan Valley. Travelling is not a problem... Some of us have been playing together for over 25 years - and know how to please a crowd. We sometimes add a sax player or a couple of horn players if Motown or Funk is required. We always show up on time, we own new, high end sound equipment, and can bring a light show if required. We can play loud or not - your call. Full on drum set, or as you can see from some of the pictures we can be a bit quieter and take up less space. We enjoy performing 60's R&B, a little bit of country and a whole lot of Rock and Roll. Standards that range from Elton John, Billy Joel, The Eagles, Ray Charles, Steely Dan to jazz greats from Billie Holiday, Julie London, Nina Simone and Ella, to name but a few. We once played a 50th wedding anniversary where the newest song we played that night was from 1967. Performing as background music to cocktail hour right through to grab-a-partner-for-the dance floor, we can create a bespoke set-list unique to your party, wedding, conference etc… to create an atmosphere that leaves a positive impression.
