Working with Sara was great. She called me the week prior to my wedding and ironed out the details. A string quartet is beautiful for an event at The Hayner Cultural Center in Troy. While all the guests were having dinner in the Dining Room(East Room). Sara and her quartet members sat in the doorway of the study. They sounded amazing! It wasn't too overpowering and allowed guests to have normal conversation. Sara asked if I wanted modern or classical music. She also played Pachabele per my request. Her team was like icing on the cake for my wedding!

Silver Strings performance was exactly what I had in mind for my daughter's wedding. I was nervous about hiring musicians online. But they were punctual, they played the songs I requested, and played beautifully. I was extremely impressed by their performance and the music was just the right touch to my daughter's wedding . I would certainly recommend this group.

Very disappointed in the performance. I had a lot of trouble communicating with Sarah and was not confident the day would go well. They maybe played half of the time they were scheduled to play and basically during half the ceremony sat there in silence. They did not play during the mothers, or flower girl piece as guests sat in silence. Very disappointed and would like a refund of some sort for the performance. It was a very difficult day weatherwise. We did the best we could under the circumstances. We played for 40 minutes before the ceremony because of the delay. Communication broke down, we didn't have enough information to know exactly when to play. The ceremony was delayed and we needed SOLID confirmation from the wedding coordinator that all was ready to start I cannot stress enough how we need a go between person between the Bridal Party and us, especially when there is a delay. We looked for a signal from someone but saw none. We really didn't know where to look or what to do. The other musicians were just as confused as I was.

Sara was wonderful to work with. We had a few lengthy phone calls to make sure everything was planned perfectly. She was very thorough, and worked very hard to make sure all the details were covered. She helped immensely with our music selection based on the feel we were going for and the instruments being used. The music was beautiful and really made our wedding a unique experience. I would highly recommend Silver Strings to anyone looking for the sound of strings to add to their event.

On a short timeline, Sara with Silver Strings worked closely with me to make sure my wedding ceremony music was everything I wanted it to be. They accommodated every request I made, and the music was beautiful. I wouldn't change a thing!

They arrived early to set up and were ready to play at the correct time. Their playing was wonderful and enjoyed by all. They were able to adapt to minor glitches in the ceremony. I would certainly encourage others to hire them.

I did not get to personally talk to them before the ceremony and I was really worried about that. You always feel uncomfortable not meeting someone face to face to discuss things before your wedding but it did not matter because they did an amazing job. Even with no face to face contact they seemed to be on my wavelength in what I wanted. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone!!!

I found Sara and her group to be just fabulous all the way around. They were there early and stayed late! The temperature outside was over 90 degrees and they just played right through it although it must not have been easy. I would give them the highest possible recommendation and should the occasion arise again I will make every effort to have them play at that event. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We were thrilled to find such talented musicians at the last minute (three weeks to plan wedding). From our first contact to the last, Sara was such a great combination of professionalism with a personal touch! She and Barb seemed to be as excited to be there with us as were were.
