Description
Orion Music is a full scale music performance company. We have been playing together for over 15 years, making excellent music with the best topnotch Acoustic Jazz, Classical and Brasilian musicians in town. We currently play for most of the cultural institutions of NYC. Our clients include royalty, presidents, high society, low society, pop stars, fashion icons and people that just love music. Our ensembles size range from solo players on up.
Our Jazz ensembles go from a keyboard soloist to 14 piece Big Band, consisting of Singers, Saxophones, Trumpets, Trombones and Rhythym Section. Our R & B Band has 5 smoking players stretching it out. Brasilian Jazz ranges from laid back Samba to Carnevale Percussion with Brasilian Dancers in full Rio Regalia. Cool Vibes combine with hot Guitar, Bass and Drums.
Beryl Diamond Chacon performs with most of Orions' Classical ensembles. These ensembles include Harps, Strings, Flute, Oboe, Piano and Brass. We have a 20 piece Harp Orchestra, Small Chamber Orchestra, String Quartet, Flute Quartet as well as a 6 piece 1950's style Broadway and Latin Pops Ensemble.
Orion Music's speciality is our complete technical mastery combined with our love of making music. Its equally important to us to support the space that we are playing in as well as sharing our music!
