DESCRIPTION:
For the past fifteen years, the great harmonies and upbeat style music of the Irish Minstrels, has entertained hundreds of folks. They sing Irish and contemporary songs, mixed with American folk and old tunes from a large variety of artists and eras. This friendly band has the unique skill to appeal to many types of audiences, which makes them a very versatile and desired attraction.
Much of their work has been in the southern and central Connecticut areas, Boston, MA, and is very popular at summer festivals of the northeast and along the Rhode Island shoreline. Their credits include well known events such as the Newport Irish Festival, Oak Embers Irish Festival, Pawtucket Irish parade, Brooksies' -St. Pat's Festival (Lincoln, RI), Irish/Boston Annual Road Race. They've appeared at Paddy Reilly's Music Bar in New York City, the McGrath Hotel in the Catskills, Fairfield Gaelic Club, Irish Home Society of CT, Fado's Irish Pub, Lincoln, RI, and appeared on the world-wide webcasts of
The Minstrels can be contracted for club and concert performances, festivals, parades, and seasonal outdoor picnics. The boys are in high demand for private birthday and anniversary parties and with civic and non-profit groups for benefit events.
