I am a solo Celtic harpist who has a passion for sharing music with others. I have had the privilege of taking harp lessons from two wonderful harp teachers and plan to pursue a music related degree. I mainly provide music therapy to senior care patients at a care center in my area, but also perform at special events such as ladies teas, Father's Day events, Graduation parties, and Christmas events. I hope to broaden my spectrum and am very open to any type of event. My harp repertoire consists of hymns, Celtic music, Classical music, and contemporary/modern music. I would consider myself to be an intermediate player and love the challenge of new music. Depending on the music or piece desired, I can take requests within a reasonable amount of time for me to learn the new piece. I prefer that my clients specify the music that they want and I will let them know if I have it and how long it will take for me to master a possible new song. If my client desires I can send them my repertoire upon request. I am accustomed to playing an hour to an hour and a half without a break, but any event longer I request a 10-15 minute break. My harp is not a full concert harp, so if the room is very large (or loud) a microphone is usually needed. The sound carries very well though in low ceiling and smaller rooms. I am also open to playing outside. I do not do Gay weddings
