Jordan Schug

Jordan Schug is a cellist and freelance musician in the Detroit Area. Originally from Southeast Michigan, he studied both jazz and classical music at the University of North Texas (ranked one of the top music schools) on scholarship from 2000-2005. He then returned to Michigan and has been continuing his music career here ever since, almost exclusively playing professionally. Aside from playing the Cello, Jordan is also well known as a Jazz Double Bassist and has performed at the Detroit Jazz festival for the past three years in a row. He has shared the stage with many world class musicians, and has lots of experience playing a variety of events.

• Jordan is the best!!! I am so glad I chose him. He was early, professional, the music was so elegantly played and best of all he went out of his way to learn the cello score from my favorite song, Flames by VAST, which he played so beautifully for the recessional, my husband and I cried while walking down the aisle.
