Booking Cover Bands

Cover Bands are music groups which perform the songs of well known artists rather than playing originals. Most (but not all) wedding bands can be considered cover bands. Other terms for cover band are 'party band' and 'variety band'. Cover bands typically play a mix of songs from different decades and different styles. Some coverbands will focus on a particular decade (for example, an 80s cover band) and there are some which focus exclusively on a single group. This is called a Tribute Band. It's not uncommon to find a Led Zeppelin cover band, a Pink Floyd cover band, a U2 cover band or even a Dave Matthews cover band. It's important to review the song list of a cover band in advance of your event to ensure that they play the cover songs that you like. Cover bands are very popular for weddings and corporate events, as well as in bars and clubs. Because they play songs people know and love, cover bands can be a real crowd pleaser!

Tips For Hiring A Cover Band
