ABOUT RASA VITALIA, VISUAL ARTIST

When Rasa Vitalia was very young, she always loved to draw and paint. Encouraged to do so, Rasa created posters, brochures, and illustrations for friends, family, and teachers in elementary and in the arts high school she attended. In 1995, Rasa Vitalia began her professional career drawing caricatures for private, public, and corporate events as a caricature artist and worked for a variety of clients. With a B.F.A. in Visual and Performing Arts in 1999, Rasa has been able to share her talents and expand her portfolio, client base and creativity. Not only does Rasa Vitalia draw live caricatures for all parties and events, Rasa is a studio portrait painter, a muralist, an illustrator and cartoonist for magazines, children's books, greeting cards, t-shirts, business letterhead and more.

CARICATURES FOR YOUR EVENT!

What a great idea for a party! With over a decade of professional experience, Rasa's talent for caricatures are a main attraction at all events. People of all ages love to be drawn. They also love to see the caricatures of their friends, family, co-workers, & even strangers! As soon as the word gets around that there is a caricature artist afoot, the caricature line is long & steady for the duration of the event. A caricature is a great take home party favor.

LOGISTICS

Rasa Vitalia is available to perform as a caricature artist for all kinds of private, public, and corporate parties and events including birthday parties, weddings, holiday parties, family day events, kids and adult parties, dinners, festivals, concerts, business meetings, and bar/bat mitzvahs. Each caricature takes about 3-5 minutes in black and white (8-12 minutes in color). Rasa draws approximately 14-16 an hour in black and white on 8.5 x 11 quality gloss cardstock. Black and white, head and shoulders caricatures are the most popular and most preferable due to the quickness and high quality. Yes, I do draw couples/groups. However, the more people on the page (and if in color), the longer it takes and the lower the quality. Color and larger paper upon special request. Rasa Vitalia does not provide retail caricatures at events but rather provides additional entertainment to your guests in the form of a flat rate service. Your guests receive a caricature as a party favor/gift from the party host.

COST

Each event is different depending on date, time, location, time of day, type of party and special requests. Please email with this information and I will present my hourly/travel costs to you. Please let me know what will work within your budget. I am flexible & can work with you.

THEMES

Rasa may also be able to help fit the party theme in costume, or provide themed paper for an additional cost. Besides caricatures, Rasa is a dance performer at events, too, sometimes providing both dance & drawing entertainment at one event. Rasa can provide other forms of entertainment from other entertainers & venue location suggestions per your request.
