DESCRIPTION:
"I never knew caricatures were actually supposed to look like the person!" That's the most common response John hears when he's drawing caricatures at an event. John is personable and very professional. He strives to create a flattering likeness, rather than a freakish exaggeration. He is the illustrator of over 100 books, including many that your children may be familiar with (The A to Z Mysteries, the Bailey School Kids).
John can draw 6 to 18 caricature per hour. The speed of each caricature depends on the the complexity of each drawing, which is dictated by the specific needs of the event. Maximum speeds are attained when the caricatures are drawn on papers with pre-printed backgrounds.

John Steven Gurney was GREAT !!! He is an incredible artist. We have had magicians, face painting, dunk tanks, etc..... however, John was the best person/talent we have had yet!
