Joni Fleming

Now also doing caricatures on IPad2! I love drawing and entertaining! Drawing the human form and faces have been my focus since I could pick up a pencil. As a young child, I studied and drew people around me whenever I was bored, waiting in line, or just out and about observing. I began as a portrait artist and fell into caricature gigging after working at Paramounts King's Island from 1979 to 1984. I've been teaching, doing studio work and drawing at parties/events ever since. I also have an a BFA in Art Ed, Fine Arts, MEd.

• Joni was great to work with on organizing the event. She gladly answered all my questions. On the day of the event she was here early, got settled in and started drawing. • Joni is a very talented caricaturist. While she wasn't quite as fast as advertised (she took about 8-10 min per drawing) - the tradeoff came with quality, which was outstanding. The drawings were quite frankly very impressive and she had a line out the door with people wanting to get caricaturized. She stayed an extra 20 minutes to accomodate a few people that were in still in line when her contracted time was up. • We were very happy with Joni! She came to our house for my 8-year-old son's birthday party and did drawings of the 14 kids there. She arrived on time, was very professional and personable, and interacted really well with the kids (and adults!).
