Judy is an educated graphic designer and self-taught professional caricaturist having drawn them regularly since 2003. She has always loved to draw people in particular, possessing a knack for seeing and capturing a true resemblance. Her style is decidedly different from the unflattering style that can grossly exaggerate a person's distinct features, and she has often been told that she made the person look better! She has drawn full body posed or head shots, for all kinds of events, from personal family gatherings to corporate functions and some vendor sales events. A social person, she engages her customers whenever possible and tries to create a relaxed, fun atmosphere!

In 2009, she was recommended by an agent and solely featured on a half hour CT cable access show spotlighting caricature art, where she discussed and demonstrated her art. This was a great experience, rivaling the portrait cookie decorating contest she was selected to complete in with a handful of other portrait artists, for Food Network's "Ham on the Street" in the early 2000s, in which she was a winner!

She also creates gift caricatures for framing or to be featured on products that can be great keepsakes or favors. Her sign-in boards, frame-able gift caricatures (and related favors and products) and special drawing papers can be a great addition to her gig work at an event. Be sure to ask about these services/products.

Please note, minimum booking time-frames (2 hours) apply and increase with distance from home base, or alternately, price will be adjusted upward and travels fees applied to compensate for a reduced time-frame. Despite her policies, she tries to be flexible and will modify bids or time-frames depending on the circumstances. She hopes to serve you soon!
