Classic Caricature Art of Victoria Bingham, since 1976. Drawing in the style of the late great caricaturist and mutual admirer - David Levine, Victoria's caricatures are precision reproductions of the sitter with a satirical flair and transcend mere party favors to become works of lasting art. Named a prodigy in her youth, Victoria was drawing portraits professionally at 13 years of age. Her first caricatures were drawn in the 1970's for the Syracuse University Daily Orange. Though the artist truly refined her craft at Army Basic Training, For Jackson SC, in the frigid winter of 78', where every commanding officer (and not a few drill sergeants) submitted to the point of her high powered pencil! With clients such as Ive's Saint Laurent, Macy's, White Plains Mall, CBS and a innumerable list of private clients, Victoria's acclaimed cartoon of Boris Yeltsin says it best, 'Eeet will be the life of your party!' Victoria is known for her ability to precisely capture a likeness and her art so thrills the sitters that it was not altogether surprising to her when a man who she'd drawn in 1976 CALLED her in 2011 to say he'd found her on the internet and STILL HAD the drawing she made of him 35 years before!
