With over 40 years of cartoons, and caricatures for various magazines, John has an extensive portfolio of art.

A member of the National cartoonist Society , since 1982,
and a member of the ISCA, International Society of Caricature Artists, since 1986.

John has won first prize in the Caricature Challenge World Wide,
and, has also won first prize in the World Wide Portrait Challenge,
with his Barbra Streisand portrait.

Created cartoons for 5 years at Marvel Comics for their "Crazy" magazine,
with his own feature, in every issue of Crazy, during that time.

Cartoons have been printed in Heavy Metal Magazine, Playboy Magazine,
the American, and Foreign editions, including the Best of Playboy.\
and The Best of Saturday Evening Post

The book "101 Uses for a Dead Cube", distributed via Tor Books,
sold over 150,000 copies.
It is a question on the 80's edition of Trivial Pursuit game .

His Second Book "Video Madness , distributed viaPinnacle Books, sold over 25,000 copies.

Comic strip "The Grass is Greener", was distributed by King Features Syndicate.

He created, and co authored a Play, entitled "A Ghost of a Chance:
Whereupon, Ebeneezer Scrooge was murdered on New Years Eve,.
It is a black comedy, court room murder mystery, using many members of Dickens Christmas Carol, with a twist ending.

Designed Theatre posters for the Prestigious Theatre Company,
Gateways Playhouse, for over 7 years.
One of his poster designs, for the Musical, " Phantom," created by Maury Yeston, and Arthur Koppit became an embroidered jacket design, gifted to Messrs. Yeston & Koppit.
and sold to others as well.

His unique approach to caricatures consist of a pleasant likeness, with a full color face and
normal sized body. You get to choose your theme These caricatures are drawn on a clear Transparency film, with permanent markers and special crayons, then placed into a white matte. Similar to the animation style of art

There never is a charge for the mattes , since they are part of the finished art.
The final creation gives the art a 3-Dimensional quality, and they make wonderful gifts.

We were looking to showcase a variety of performers at our party so that our guests could "live" the GigMasters experience. John set up his drawing studio in the corner and before I knew it, there was a line of people waiting to be drawn. "Caricatoonist" is the perfect name for what he does - which is to draw caricatures of people in a themed cartoon setting. From Star Wars to Super Heroes, John is a pro at drawing all different themes. And, it was so pleasant to talk to him while he was drawing. • Great experience with Jon, everyone loved having their caricature done. The caricatures were lovely and not in anyway mean spirited, Jon had a board from which you could chose characters so for example my sister-in-law and two friends had a caricature done of them as Charlie's angels, great, great addition to any party and people fromt he wedding told me they would use JOn for other events. Initially booked him for 3 hours but had him stay for an extra hour since everyone was having such fun with it. It added just a little extra to my wedding for kids and adults alike. • OMG!!!!
