Big Al Caricature

Drawing live caricature at events since June 1985. Big Al captures personality along with a likeness usually in 2.5-5 minutes in Black & White and 5-10 minutes in Color. Comfortable drawing anywhere and almost anyone from elegant guests at a catered affair to slobbering dogs at a pet store. He's drawn at places as diverse as the World AG Expo (Tulare, CA), Cartoon Art Museum (SF, CA), Sheraton Waikiki (Hawaii), Blackhawk Auto Museum (Danville, CA), Harrah's (Reno, Nevada), cruises on SFBay and the house next door (Brentwood), PETCO's (SF Bay Area & Central CA). In 1991 "Texas Tim" said people will remember you more if you have a catchy moniker. Shortly after that I started signing my work "Big Al". I've been a member of ISCA since 1994. In 1996 I won a "Silver Nosey" award at the NCN's annual convention in Houston, Texas. In 2000 "Atomic Jenny" was voted one of the Top Ten Caricatures of the year.

• Big Al was a big hit at my 9 year old birthday party. We expected around 20-25 children, however Big Al continued to work until almost every child in the neighborhood that dropped by had a caricature.
